Last night we went to the Fountain Theater in Hollywood to watch the reading of Yaz’s play “The William Saroyan Experience.” The reading was being sponsored by the ADAA as Yaz was a finalist in their Saroyan Prize for Playwriting. Many of our family and friends showed up to check it out. We all had a great time and the reading was very successful. The above clip is taken from a dialogue between a young William Saroyan and his grandmother. Funny side note, the actress that played the grandmother dated my great uncle for a short time. Also, know that the volume on this clip is super low.
