This south entrance to Buckingham Gardens (next to the Women’s WC) in London, England. Such a beautiful and civilized (though I hate using the term) place. From a recent 8 hour visit to the UK, on our way to Armenia.

Labor Day in LA was a beautiful, warm day. I am aware that elsewhere in the country people were evacuated from the homes because of a German hurricane, and that Republicans where thanking the Lord that they purchased event insurance, but Annie and I felt like it would be okay if we had a nice day together. We decided to go to Huntington Gardens, a place we enjoy and haven’t been to for years. Annie was looking forward to the new Chinese Garden, and I was excited about the exhibition on LA photography. It was great. Afterward, we went to go see Traiter, which was pretty good.
It great, but unrelated news, my friend John while campaigning for Ralph Nader, actually met Mos Def. Aside from being generally awesome, this event allowed me to write the previous sentence, which is the third most unlikely sentence of all time.
